Bitsler Audit: 2.3 Million Rounds Across 5 Games Tested - 9.8/10
We reconstructed two 1,000,000-round Bitsler hash chains (Blast + Flash Roulette) from public seeds and swept Dice, Limbo and Coin Flip at 100,000 rounds each. 2.3M rounds, 5 games, NIST-tested. Score: 9.8/10 EXCELLENT.
We audited Bitsler across five games using nothing but publicly disclosed server seeds and Bitcoin block hashes. No casino account. No API access requested. No permission asked. Just pure cryptographic reconstruction from public data.
Two games — Blast (crash) and Flash Roulette — received a full 1,000,000-round hash-chain reconstruction each. Three more — Dice, Limbo and Coin Flip — went through a 100,000-round statistical sweep. That is 2,300,000 rounds in total, every one of them independently verifiable.

Bitsler passed. 9.8 out of 10 — EXCELLENT. Across 2,300,000 rounds and five games, the RNG is clean, the hash chains are intact, and the house edge matches the mathematical expectation exactly.
The only results that are not a clean pass are two well-understood artifacts, not evidence of manipulation: the crash-distribution Kolmogorov–Smirnov flag (a structural consequence of the 1-in-33 instant-crash mechanic) and one marginal Maurer’s Universal result at p=0.0075 (statistically expected when you run this many tests). We explain both in full below.

What Is Bitsler?
Bitsler (bitsler.com) has been running since 2015 — longer than most of its competitors have existed. It is operated by Oyine N.V., a Curaçao company (Company Number 144430) holding a valid Certificate of Operation. Games are crypto-in, crypto-out: Dice, Limbo, Crash (called Blast), Coin Flip, Roulette, a full slot library and a sportsbook.
Their provably fair architecture is built around an HMAC-SHA512 hash chain — each game outcome is mathematically derived from a publicly committed server seed and an independently chosen client seed. After a seed rotation, the server seed is disclosed, so anyone can verify every game played under that seed. That disclosure is what made this audit possible.
One thing up front: bitsler.com is not bitsler.io. The .io is a separate US-facing social/sweepstakes casino. This audit is about bitsler.com.
How We Obtained the Data
This is the part that matters most. Every number in this report can be independently verified by anyone with basic programming knowledge. When Bitsler relaunches a game with a new hash chain, it discloses the previous server seed — the seed is useless after the chain is exhausted, so publishing it proves they didn’t cheat.

Starting from each server seed, we computed 1,000,000 SHA-512 hashes. The chain works forward (each hash is the SHA-512 of the previous one), but games play in reverse — Game 1 uses the last hash in the chain. The terminating hash must match what Bitsler published before any games were played. Both chains verified perfectly. Each game outcome is then derived via HMAC-SHA512(gameHash, bitcoinBlockHash), where the Bitcoin block hash is an external entropy source that neither Bitsler nor the player controls — tamper with the outcome and the blockchain immediately contradicts you.

Results: Blast (1,000,000 Crash Games)
For Bitsler Blast the crash point is floor(98 / (1 - rawFloat)) / 100, with an instant crash at 1.00x whenever the first hex characters of the HMAC result are divisible by 33 (a hard 1/33 = 3.030% probability).

Blast key statistics: raw float mean 0.499687 (expected 0.500000); instant crashes 2.965% (expected 2.970%); games ≥ 2.00x ~49.5%; games ≥ 10.00x ~9.9%; games ≥ 100.00x ~0.98%. House edge measured at 2.965% against an expected 2.970%. No evidence of outcome shaving or manipulation across the full chain.
The one marginal result (Maurer Universal, p=0.0075) is statistically expected: when running 19 independent tests, the probability of at least one falling below p=0.01 is roughly 17%. This is not evidence of manipulation — it is evidence that statistics work.
Results: Flash Roulette (1,000,000 Rounds)
Flash Roulette is European-style roulette (numbers 0–36) built on the same SHA-512 hash chain, but the HMAC output is converted to a roulette number via modulo 37. Testing a second game with a completely different outcome formula proves the underlying cryptographic layer is sound regardless of how outcomes are derived from it.

A Chi-Square value of 22.24 with 36 degrees of freedom is almost textbook perfect — the critical value at α=0.05 is 50.998, and we are well below it. Red and black land within 0.01% of the theoretical value, and the house edge (green/zero frequency) lands at 2.695% against the mathematical expectation of 2.703% (1/37). The full NIST battery on the raw HMAC layer mirrors the Blast results, with the same single marginal Maurer result.
Results: Dice, Limbo & Coin Flip (100,000 Rounds Each)
Alongside the two deep hash-chain reconstructions, we ran a 100,000-round statistical sweep across three more Bitsler games. All three passed cleanly — exactly what you want to see from a fair RNG.
- Dice — 20/20 tests passed. 100,000 rolls, uniform across 0–99.99. Chi-square p-value within range, KS test clean, no sequential correlation.
- Limbo — 20/20 tests passed. 100,000 multipliers, exponential distribution behaving correctly. The tail events (high multipliers) occurred at statistically expected frequencies — no clustering, no pattern.
- Coin Flip — 19/19 tests passed. 100,000 flips, 50.0% heads / 50.0% tails. Chi-square, runs test and sequential correlation all clean.
Verdict: 9.8/10 — EXCELLENT
Across 2,300,000 rounds and five games, Bitsler passed the overwhelming majority of every statistical battery we applied. The two non-passes are both explained artifacts, not manipulation:
- The crash-distribution KS flag is a mathematical consequence of the discrete probability mass at exactly 1.00x (the 1-in-33 instant-crash mechanic) breaking the KS test’s continuous-distribution assumption. The underlying HMAC output that feeds the formula passes every test cleanly.
- The marginal Maurer’s Universal result (p=0.0075) is expected statistical variance when running many independent tests.
Bitsler’s hash-chain architecture is genuinely transparent: we derived every game outcome independently from publicly verifiable inputs, without trusting Bitsler’s API or their word. The house edge is exactly what the math predicts — no hidden edge, no shaving. Score: 9.8/10 — EXCELLENT.

Scope of This Audit
This audit verifies the mathematical fairness of Bitsler’s RNG only — whether the random number generation produces statistically unbiased outcomes. It does not cover withdrawal processing, customer support, bonus terms, KYC processes, financial stability, licensing compliance or dispute resolution. Mathematical fairness is necessary but not sufficient. It also does not repeal the house edge: over enough bets you will still lose money long-term. Provably fair proves the game isn’t manipulated — it says nothing about the odds being in your favour. Always do your own research before depositing.
How We Tested — This Audit Specifically
For Bitsler we reconstructed two independent 1,000,000-round hash chains (Blast from Bitcoin block #608891, Flash Roulette from block #668720) directly from Bitsler’s publicly disclosed server seeds, plus a 100,000-round sweep of Dice, Limbo and Coin Flip. Each dataset ran through the full NIST SP 800-22 battery and our custom game-specific tests, scored on our published 0–10 scale. Because Bitsler discloses server seeds after chain exhaustion, this entire audit required no cooperation from the casino — public data, public formulas, public verification.
